Hawaii’s Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is the cornerstone program of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Hawaii (RMHC-HI). RMH improves the lives of the children of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim by providing a “home-away-from-home” for seriously ill children and their families. Since opening its doors in 1987, Hawaii’s RMH program has served literally thousands of guests. Its two residential facilities currently provide comfort and support for more than 400 families annually.

Ronald McDonald House Programs and Events

At Ronald McDonald House Hawaii, we encourage children to be kids first and patients second! Following long days of treatment, our programs help give children and their families much needed rest and provide diversion from the stresses and angst of a hospital setting.

We work with our community, our volunteers, and generous donors in order to offer memorable and enriching experiences to our gusets. Thanks to this generous support, our programs are available at no cost to families.
