Description:

This position manages and oversees planning, development and implementation of RMHC–Hawaii’s signature events, new community support initiatives, and any other outside or sponsor-driven projects or activities related to RMHC's overall fundraising objectives. There is also lead responsibility for managing the grants development program, which includes prospecting and stewardship, cultivating new sources, and determining needs assessment for grant funding opportunities.

Description: Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawaii is dedicated to supporting programs that directly improve the health and well—being of children. We provide a home–away–from–home and essential services for families with critically ill or injured children who need who need life–saving medical care on Oahu. We believe, when a family's essential needs are met, they can focus on their child's healing. Keeping Families Close to each other and the medical care they need is a priority here.

Our first House opened on Judd Hillside Road in Manoa in 1987; our second House opened on Oahu Avenue in Manoa in 2006. Now we are looking for a positive, caring individual to join our team as Development Coordinator, to help provide fundraising and promotional support.

The Development Coordinator provides fundraising and promotional support. This includes assisting with promoting a positive image of the Ronald McDonald House through exceptional communications and professionalism. This position will help with development and oversight of fundraising and PR digital platforms, volunteer groups, correspondence, and fundraising programs and databases.

Requirements:

An associates or bachelor's degree, equivalent course work/training in marketing, business, communications or related field is preferable. A minimum of three years of experience in an administrative position, preferably in a not-for-profit development office. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. PowerPoint, Outlook, Database management and Internet Explorer experience is a plus.

Maintenance Technician

Description:

Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawaii is dedicated to supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. We provide a home-away-from-home and essential services for families with critically ill or injured children who need life-saving medical care on Oahu.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily repairs and maintenance of equipment (electrical, carpentry, plumbing) for our two Houses in Manoa. This includes developing and overseeing maintenance schedules for appliances, air conditioners, fire alarm, sprinkler system, ground sprinkler, and all other maintenance equipment, including our vehicles that transport families to and from hospitals each day.

Additional duties include helping the Director of House Operations and Facilities Committee with special projects. This includes conducting research, obtaining quotes, meeting with contractors and providing general assistance to ensure a project's success.

Requirements:
