Open your heart

AmyEach day brings another chance at life and all that it presents to us. This couldn’t be truer than for the families that we welcome through the doors of our Ronald McDonald Houses and RMH Family Room. Parents enduring a child’s medical crisis understand that each day is a blessing and hope that today is the day that the light at the end of the tunnel is in view for their ailing child. For those whose hope is dimmed by a fading light, each hour is precious and the gift of life and the love for their child immeasurable. Through your support of RMHC-HI, you too share in the hope that each child returns to health. Every bit of your donation stays here in Hawaii and immediately begins to help ease some of these families’ burdens during their difficult journeys.

Ways to Support Seriously Ill Children and their Families
Heart by making direct cash donations to RMHC-HI
Heart by taking advantage of your company’s “matching gift” program
Heart by naming RMHC-HI as the recipient of your own company’s corporate support
Heart by providing in-kind donations of goods and services (wish list)
Heart by naming RMHC-HI as the beneficiary of your insurance policies, in your will, or as part of your estate planning
Heart by designating RMHC-HI as your charity of choice during the Combined Federal Campaign (RMHC Organization Number 89629)
Heart by designating RMHC-HI as your charity of choice at the time of your Aloha United Way enrollment
Heart by participating in the RMHC-HI Golf Classic or other special events (2009 Golf Classic set for July 23)
RMHC-HI is not a corporate foundation although McDonald’s® Restaurants of Hawaii is a major ally of the organization. While not funding RMHC-HI directly, McDonald’s does make venues available for the public to donate to RMHC-HI through their restaurants. In association with McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii you may support RMHC-HI by:
Heart using McFun-Raiser coupon books for your school or organization’s fund raising campaign
Heart putting spare change in the RMHC-HI canisters, located near the cash registers inside all McDonald Restaurants and most drive-thru windows
Heart buying the Honolulu Advertiser, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Maui News, West Hawaii Today, Hawaii Tribune Herald, Garden Island and Guam’s Pacific Daily News at participating McDonald’s restaurants
Heart participating in any of McDonald’s special promotions benefiting RMHC-HI
Heart advertising a business or organization on McDonald’s Restaurant tray liners
