Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii (RMHC-HI) operates programs to assist families with seriously ill or injured children.  Each of its two Ronald McDonald Houses offers a home-away-from-home for families who must fly a child to Honolulu for treatment.

In addition, RMHC-HI provides the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children — a place of respite and support for immediate family members of children being treated in the hospital.  In this way, RMHC-HI also serves families from Oahu.
